FIRSTTHURSDAY JACKSONVILLE’S SECOND ANNUAL BLACK HISTORY MONTH CELEBRATION IS A SUCCESS!

“The turnout for FirstThursday JACKSONVILLE truly exceeded our expectations. The quality of the audience was over the top professional,” stated Larry Williams, FTJ Founder. “I want to personally Thank all of you who came to the meeting. I know that you could have been in many other places, but I am happy that you chose to spend some quality time with me and other people just like you,” Williams added. 
JAXPORT (Jacksonville Port Authority), Hal Jones Contractor, Inc. and Manson Construction Company made outstanding and matter of fact presentations about how to effectively do business with JAXPORT and their Prime General Contractors. These kind of presentations and future ones are the reasons why people should attend FirstThursday Jacksonville meetings. They are inspirational and encourage discussions far beyond the meetings. 
Niki Brunson, who is a candidate for Jacksonville City Council attended Thursday’s meeting and stated on FirstThursday’s Facebook Page, “JaxPort provides accessible opportunities for Small Business Owners.”

FirstThursday Jacksonville is planning another great meeting for FirstThursday, Noon, March 5th at the Jacksonville Urban League.  Everyone should put that date and every FirstThursday on their calenders right NOW!
